About PDRN
What Is PDRN?
PDRN (Polydeoxyribonucleotide) is a purified DNA fragment derived from salmon sperm cells. Used as an injectable skin booster, it activates the body's own tissue repair — stimulating collagen, reducing inflammation, and improving skin quality.
The Science Behind PDRN
PDRN works by binding to adenosine A2A receptors in the skin. This receptor activation triggers a cascade that promotes cell growth, reduces pro-inflammatory cytokines, and increases production of VEGF (vascular endothelial growth factor) — a protein that supports new blood vessel formation and tissue repair.
The result: faster skin turnover, stronger collagen networks, and a measurable reduction in inflammatory skin conditions.
The compound is extracted from salmon DNA (Oncorhynchus mykiss), which shares a high degree of structural compatibility with human DNA. This compatibility is why salmon PDRN has become the standard source in medical applications — it is well-tolerated and has an established safety record across dermatology and orthopedic medicine.

What PDRN Treats
Fine lines & early wrinkles
Improves skin elasticity and thickness
Acne scarring
Reduces scar depth and improves surface texture
Under-eye hollowness
Hydrates and repairs thin periorbital skin
Redness & reactive skin
Reduces chronic inflammation in sensitive skin
Enlarged pores
Tightens pore walls by increasing dermal density
Dull, tired skin
Restores radiance through improved circulation and repair
How PDRN Is Administered
PDRN is injected directly into the dermis using fine-gauge needles or a cannula. In some combination treatments, it is delivered via microneedling (mesotherapy technique), which distributes the product across a treatment area rather than delivering point injections.
A standard session takes 20 to 45 minutes. Most practitioners apply topical numbing cream 20 to 30 minutes before the procedure.

Injection
Fine-gauge needle into mid-to-deep dermis
Post-Treatment
Mild redness normal, resolves within 48 hrs
Safety Profile
PDRN has a well-documented safety record in both aesthetic and medical applications. Side effects are generally mild and short-lived: redness, swelling, and tenderness at injection sites, typically resolving within 24 to 48 hours.
Serious adverse events are rare when the procedure is performed by a trained practitioner using sterile technique.
PDRN is not suitable for people with fish or salmon allergies. Contraindications include active skin infections, autoimmune conditions, blood clotting disorders, pregnancy, and breastfeeding.
